The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a specialization in Security explores general methodologies used to assess and manage risks to information security and examines the activities involved in the process of information security risk management for a business organization. The robust and rigorous project-based curriculum is designed to help prepare you with industry-current, firsthand knowledge of the design, development and delivery of high-quality IT projects aimed at meeting management expectations. In addition to acquiring a comprehensive understanding of network security, students can create a portfolio of projects they can use to demonstrate their knowledge and skills to prospective employers.
Obtaining your Security+ Certification can provide you with an internationally recognized credential that demonstrates your competency in IT security issues. This CTU degree program offers a curriculum designed in accordance with standards set by CompTIA, the leading independent provider of IT certifications in the world.
Coursework is designed to prepare you with the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the Security+ certification exam, the 8th most requested certification for IT occupations in 2013.
